Our focus has not changed, but our name has. CEO Focus Partners is now CXO Accelerator.

CXO Accelerator & America's Business Operating System


Collectively, we agreed that we needed a platform to address the distinct needs of CXOs (CEOs, COOs, CFOs, etc.), and their supporting business operating system. Our prior branding/presence (www.ceofocuspartners.com) simply did not represent the full spectrum of our work nor the needs of our clients. That reality prompted us to re-brand as CXO Accelerator.


Ultimately, you want a business that you can step away from. Our proven approach builds a sustainable, scalable, and saleable business with true traction.


We  focus on four things:

Jim Adkins and Chris Scherer met during their orientation for CEO Focus and have been working together since. They met Mike Kramer (founder of ManageHub) at their first CEO Focus annual convention. Jim and Chris immediately saw value in Mike's work and soon after began their partnership.


CEO Focus

The organization now known as CEO Focus was formed in 2001. Starting with a single group in Indianapolis, the organization has grown to over 25 cities in North America. CEO Focus started with a simple philosophy: business owners learn best from other business owners. We believe in the power of peer consulting and Peer Advisory Groups.


This starts with the founder of CEO Focus, Jim Muehlhausen. In 1994, he joined a CEO group while running a manufacturing company. The company was doing well, but he found himself struggling with growth issues, no one to talk to, and constantly re-inventing the wheel. His positive experience in this peer group created his desire to form CEO Focus.
